ReplyShelf is a Google Workspace add-on that helps users save personal email response templates and share reusable response templates with teammates.

Information ReplyShelf accesses

ReplyShelf may access information from your Google account only as needed to provide the features you choose to use.

This may include:

• Google Sheets used as shared team template libraries.
• Google Drive information needed to select and access a team template spreadsheet.
• The Gmail draft you are actively working with when you choose to insert a saved response.
• Configuration information needed to remember your personal templates and team-library settings.

How information is used

Google account data is used only to provide ReplyShelf functionality, such as displaying templates, managing a shared team library, and inserting a template into a Gmail draft when you request it.

Personal templates

Personal templates are associated with the individual user and are not intentionally shared with other ReplyShelf users.

Team templates

Team templates are stored in a Google Sheet selected or created for the team. Access to that Sheet is controlled through Google account and Google Drive sharing permissions.

Data storage

ReplyShelf is built using Google Apps Script and Google Workspace services. Team-template information is stored in Google Sheets, while application settings and other configuration information may be stored using Google Apps Script property storage.

Data sharing

ReplyShelf does not sell Google user data.

ReplyShelf does not use Google user data for advertising.

Data is shared with other users only when required by a feature you intentionally use, such as sharing a team template library through a Google Sheet.

Google API data

ReplyShelf's use of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

Data retention and deletion

Users can delete personal templates through ReplyShelf. Team templates and team-library data can be edited or deleted through ReplyShelf and, where applicable, through the underlying Google Sheet.

Users may also revoke ReplyShelf's access to their Google account through their Google Account security settings.

Security

ReplyShelf uses Google account authorization and Google Workspace permissions to access supported services. Access is limited to the permissions authorized by the user.

Changes to this policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated if ReplyShelf's features, data practices, or legal requirements change. The date at the top of this page will be updated when material changes are made.
